The Adjective
A Word used with a noun to describe or point out, the person, animal , place or thing with the noun names, or to tell the number or quantity, is called an Adjective.Adjective of Quality
Show the kind or quality of person or thing ; as,= He is an honest man.
= The foolish old crow tried to sing.
Adjective_of_Quantity
= I ate some rice.= She showed much patience.
= You have no sense.
Adjective_of_Number
= The hand has five fingers.= Few cats like cold water.
= All men must die.
Demonstrative_Adjective
Point out which person or thing is meant;as,= This boy is stronger than Hamad.
= That boy is industrious.
= These mangoes are sour.
Kinds of Adjectives
Interrogative_Adjectives
What, Which and Whose, When they are used with nouns to ask questions, are called Interrogative Adjectives. ; as,= What manners of man is he?
= Which way shall we go?
Possessive_Adjectives
A possessive adjective is used with Nouns to shows possession ;as,= My House
= Her Father
= My Property
Possessive Adjectives are also called possessive Pronoun.

We thus that adjectives change in form ( Sweet,Sweeter, Sweetest) to show comparison. They are called the three Degree of Comparison.
